Jonathon "Nate" Beail-Farkas stands in a cave in Stroud’s Run State Park and watches his children explore the surrounding areas. Nate has been homeless for several months since his separation from his wife. He “couch surfed” and camped with his children.
Nate does some repairs on a friend’s house in exchange for being able to sleep on her couch for a few nights.

Kento, Skye, Paul, and Nate have band practice in Nate’s new house. He did not have any furniture so they sat on the ground, or an amp, or a drum to play.
Nate wakes up in his new room in his new home. “I like this room. It’s my room. I picked it because of these cool windows. I wake up with the sun in my face,” he said.
Nate eats his breakfast of Snowville Creamery milk and granola out of a Paw Paw Festival cup. “I should probably get some bowls soon. I only have two cups,” he said.
Nate leaves his new home to go to work. He had been homeless for several months and had been “couch surfing” since he and his wife separated. He said this house was a fresh start for him. “It’s spooky and old and creeps me out, man. But it’s mine ya know? I can’t wait to bring my kids here,” he said.
Nate enjoys the morning light in his new room.
